Mission
 To develop progressive and dynamic individuals towards building an excellent generation based on total submission to Allah s.w.t.

Objectives
 

To provide a faith-based educational program where Islamic content is 
    integrated into all subjects taught.
 
 

To provide an Islamic environment where all activities are conducted with an
    adab that reinforces Islam as a way of life.
 
 

To provide a broad spectrum of avenues and opportunities for maximum
    potential growth to help individuals achieve excellence in all aspects.
 
 

To develop the human potential and impart the necessary knowledge in
    order to build an excellent Ummah.
 
 

To work together with parents and partners in all areas of endeavor.
 

Philosophy
In ITQAN, the programs follow an Islamic approach that is tarbiyyah-centered, whereby the transfer of knowledge (not content or information)  forms the prerequisite for laying the foundations of taqwa in the heart of our children. Tarbiyyah which encompasses more than teaching includes a total and holistic development of the child focusing on the spiritual in order to produce a psychologically balanced, physically strong, emotionally and mentally stable child, insha-Allah. Discipline and adab is highly emphasized in creating a conducive and orderly environment for learning and mutual respect.
 
Tarbiyyah Approach
 

The definition of tarbiyyah is to look after, nurture. to nourish, to help grow and flourish. Tarbiyyah implies a sensitivity towards the child under your care, his emotional and physical need sand capacities. It implies the ability to trust and not to stifle, to be firm when needed and even impose sanctions when necessary.

 
 

We use the Islamic approach of tarbiyyah when it comes to educating and nurturing the students. Our methodology includes the following :

  • Contemporary approach

  • Balanced

  • Firm yet flexible

Insha-Allah this combination will in turn enhance wisdom and the highest and most authentic knowledge leads to wisdom. For Muslims, wisdom is attained by thinking and developing the personality that is illuminated by the Nur (light) of the Quran and the multi-dimensional personality of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
